Recent Changes at Silver Springs State Park
The boat glided across the water, the dark green sea grass below giving way to a turquoise blue hole. A jagged crack sliced through the floor of the river bed. Tiny white balls bounced from the hole like a snow globe gone wild. A two-foot garfish lingered over the crack and a school of mullet raced past in a mad flurry. We had reached the spring known as the abyss.
Florida Spring Hunting
I confess, I have a little obsession- okay a big one. I’m a hunter. You won’t find me on big game magazines or toting a gun- my prey is much too large for that- I’m a Florida Spring Hunter.
Best of 2016 Adventure Review
If last year was the year of chills and thrills and theme parks, this year we returned to the wild and embraced wilderness culture as we never have before. We got daring.
